Add a MikroTik router in AROFi

Create the router record first so AROFi can generate unique setup scripts.

MikroTik gateway and access points
Add the MikroTik gateway first. Access points provide coverage but do not replace the gateway.

Register the router

  1. Connect the MikroTik WAN port to the working internet router or modem.
  2. Connect the technician computer or phone to a MikroTik LAN port or its local WiFi.
  3. In AROFi, open Network or Routers.
  4. Select Add Router.
  5. Enter a clear name such as Shop 1 Gateway or Mutungo hEX.
  6. Enter the physical site or location.
  7. Enter the requested RouterOS or hardware details exactly where shown.
  8. Save the router.
  9. Open the new router record and locate the generated Onboarding Script and Remote Access Script.
