How customer Mobile Money checkout works today, and what actually drives instant activation.
Customer checkout
Customers select a package, choose MTN or Airtel, enter their phone number, and press Pay.
Nothing about how the payment is processed is ever shown to the customer — just their package, network, and phone number.
Activation rule
Internet access is activated only after the payment is confirmed successful.
Pending and failed payments never create an active session or increase withdrawable wallet balance.
Auto-connect and expiry
The moment a payment is confirmed, the customer is connected automatically — no manual approval step, day or night.
When a package's time or data runs out, the customer is disconnected automatically too. If a specific router doesn't disconnect a device promptly, contact support — it's usually fixed by re-running that router's setup command.
